Tourism and territory

In contrast to the then general atmosphere of negativism about the future of humanity, these courses wanted to set in place an optimistic way of doing, filled with passion and energy for the resulting projects.

For two years the working topic was tourism, a major industry of our times with a high impact on urban and natural environments, and due to its enormous economic scale grows so fast with little time to debate about the consequences it has on the territory. An open discussion on the limits of the tourism business and on how architecture can look for answers to contribute to making a better future.
