THE TOURISTIC CITIES OF THE MEDITERRANEAN COAST

The coastal city is explored, a continuous heterogeneous build-up that spreads over the sea border of El Camp de Tarragona. Generally known as “la Costa Dorada”, the area extending beyond municipal administrative borders.

 

The attempt is to analyze the ciudad lineal (linear city) that grows along the coast to understand its urban conditions. What is their potential and resilience to become a holistic city, alive and active the whole year, despite the differences in occupation during the summer and winter seasons?
