A house in the Barcelona neighbourhood of Sant Andreu is being passed on from one generation of a family to the next. The section is opened to filter the light from the south side, the main façade, to the inside of the house without sacrificing privacy. The original house structure with its multiple terraces and levels is enhanced to emphasise the connection with the patio and its tree.
