RICHMOND

Richmond is a semi-detached two-story house located in Twickenham, close to the River Thames. Only few minutes’ walk distance from the river Thames meadows.

A dreaming location for a family with four kids. The house never refurbished before from its initial construction, required changes to get adapted to requirements of the new occupants. The main goal was to free space in the ground floor and open the house to the garden in the backyard. Proposals were also assessed to link the rooms with the roof level.The property, built in the mid-1930s is included within a conservation area from 1990. Built in bricks and timber, the intervention was respectful with the construction system to ease the works and contain the family investment.
