A big educational space with a limited budget represented a challenge for the required adaption to the new activity. The kids’ playground first operation was the emptying of the space, eliminating unnecessary rooms and installations. Secondly, safety requirements and adequacy to future kids use drove the intervention by limiting it to what it was considered essentially necessary to start operating. Installations criteria were ordered prioritising efficiency and energy saving.

By painting walls and ceiling in white, furniture, the base of the business activity, was naturally highlighted by color contrast. The result is a wide, comfortable and light space adequate to kids’ requirements.
