The Consorci de la Zona Franca requires an update of its model to adapt its industrial and logistic infrastructure to new customer requirements. A strategic plan is developed with the aim of improving the urban quality of the zone and humanising the hard and rigid environment. A street model on Calle 5 street tests the strategies proposed for the entire complex: uniform sections and infrastructure flexibility drive the layout while pedestrians and cyclists are incorporated into an area previously for cars and trucks only.
