Barranco de Lermes

Barranco de Lermes

Touristic developments settled along the Spanish national coast from the earlies of the ’70s require to be revisited to provide the appropriate response to today’s requirements and demands. In Santiago del Teide, tourism infrastructures’ decay and social segregation are faced through mobility strategies, fostering pedestrian comfort by claiming natural vertical connections, and recognizing the strategic position of the Barranco de Lermes channel on reorganizing and reconnecting the public space.
