House renovation and extension proposal within an old town heritage protection area, Canary Islands.

Within the heritage protection area of the old town of Los Silos, in the Island of Tenerife, a proposal to renovate and extend a traditional house is set. Patios are revived and distribution and extension is organized to enjoy the comfort provided through cross ventilation and climate control. Original house, stone walls and timber roof are preserved. The extension, on top of a previous construction from mid XX’s century, lifts one floor to accommodate a studio and wetrooms.
